It’s Coming…

I’ve literally been working on my latest program for almost 2 years now, but I’m THRILLED to release it to the general public on April 1st!!!  It’s my brand new Champion Performance Therapy and Training Certification this week. This is by far my most comprehensive program to date, essentially teaching you my entire system of assessing movement and building performance based therapy and training programs.

If you want to become a Champion Certified Performance Specialist (CCPS), enrollment starts tomorrow!  We’ll be excepting new enrollments this will, but then will be closed for new registrations. We are only going to open the program 2 times per year!  Get on the presale list now to get early access and save $200:

My Latest Article

Subacromial decompression surgery is a very common procedure performed for people with shoulder pain. The procedure is often recommended for people with “impingement syndrome” and was originally theorized to open up the subacromial space and help reduce biomechanical impingement. But recent research has challenged the effectiveness of the procedure, and even the diagnosis of “subacromial impingement” itself.

My Latest Inner Circle Update

The latest Inner Circle webinar recording on How to Perform a Thorough and Systematic Clinical Examination – Part 4 is now available. The response to the first two parts of this series was great, so I wanted to add even more detail to the objective section. There is a flow to the objective portion that is very important. In part 3 and 4, I wanted to break that down further, and share a bunch of clinical pearls from experience.

Building a winning mindset from the ground up is key. If we try to build a pyramid from the top first, it would not be sustainable. The pyramid will collapse and you will have to restart from scratch. This concept holds true for building a winning mindset. As a player, we can have all the tools we need physically, but if we do not have the right mindset, it will be very tough to reach our ultimate goal.

This Week’s Social Media

Myself and my team at Champion PT and Performance are publishing a ton of great content on social media right now that you are not going to want to miss!

Something is wrong.

We have a ton of content, so you’re going to want to follow us:

This Week’s Stuff You Should Read From Around the Web

Simplifying the Shoulder

Clinical Athlete posted a nice (and almost 2 hour!) presentation from Adam Meakins on the shoulder. Many know Adam from social media. I thought this was a great presentation. I don’t agree with everything 100%, especially in different populations, but if you approach it thinking not everything is perfectly black and white, I think Adam does a great job.

Building Community Through PT Mentorship

Nice article from Savannah Smith from NewGradPhysicalTherapy.com on mentorships for PTs. I think this is even more important lately as social media has really muddied the waters in my mind, and may not be the most effective ways for new grads to effectively learn.

The 200 Amazing Fitness Articles You Need to Know About

A crazy amount of quality articles from around the web. Philip Stefanov from ThinkingLifter.com does a great job putting this all together!
